when you use our mobile applications, including ForkFlip and Ingrain (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy applies to the following mobile applications:
- ForkFlip: A restaurant discovery app that helps you decide where to eat.
- Ingrain: A habit tracking app focused on progress over perfection.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you sign in using Google or Apple (ForkFlip), we collect your email address
and name to create your account and personalize your experience.
- ForkFlip - Favorites: Restaurants you save to your favorites list, including the place name, address,
and coordinates.
- Ingrain - Habit Data: Goals, habits, schedules, progress logs, and any custom tracking data you create within the app. All of this data is stored locally on your device only - we do not collect, access, or store any of this information.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- ForkFlip - Location Data: We request access to your device's location to find restaurants near you.
Your location is sent to our servers only when you perform a search and is not stored permanently.
- ForkFlip - Usage Data: We track your daily usage (number of searches, retries, ads watched) to manage
free tier limits and improve the Service.
- ForkFlip - Recent Places: We store the restaurants suggested to you, along with search parameters
(location, filters used), to provide history features.
- Ingrain - Notification Preferences: Your notification settings and preferences are stored locally on your device only. We do not track or collect any usage data.
2. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services which may collect information used to identify you:
ForkFlip
- Google Sign-In & Firebase Authentication: Used for secure user authentication. Google Privacy Policy

- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device

- Google Places API: Used to search for restaurants based on your location and preferences.
Ingrain

- React Native: Framework used for app development. Data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- ForkFlip: Provide and maintain the Service (e.g., finding nearby restaurants), personalize your experience with saved favorites and search history, process payments and manage subscriptions, enforce usage limits for free tier users, and show relevant advertisements (for non-premium users).
- Ingrain: Store and manage your habit tracking data locally on your device, provide insights and progress visualization, and send notifications based on your preferences. We do not collect, track, or transmit any of your data.
4. Data Storage and Retention
- ForkFlip: Your data is stored on our servers. We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
- Ingrain: Your data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not collect or store your habit tracking data on our servers. You can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from your device settings.
5. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable
information from children under 13.
